Robert Sterling's Early Life and Career
Robert Sterling was born in 1917 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and worked as a clothing salesman before pursuing an acting career. In 1939, he signed a contract with Columbia Pictures and changed his name.
