    Biography

    Anshel Pfeffer is The Economist’s Israel correspondent. He wrote for the newspaper as a freelancer from 2015 before joining full-time in 2024. Before that he was a columnist and senior correspondent for Ha’aretz covering security, politics, religion and foreign affairs. His latest book is “Bibi: The Turbulent Life and Times of Benjamin Netanyahu” (2018).
